Red Tailed Bumblebee

Part of the Micro series in my latest collection, focusing on macro and micro examples across the insect world. I used fine precious metals hand gilded onto the insects to showcase the variation and beauty of each species.
With contemporary minimalist framing and extensive negative space, each work is brought forward without interruption to display fine detail and allow in natural lighting.
